This learning activity takes you through the journey of one medical institution as they implement a novel pump technology. You will learn the importance of organization and  on-going operations such as drug library/pump maintenance. The keys to success from their experience will include surveillance, specifically, Dose Error Reduction Software (DERS) compliance, pump-network connectivity as well as a focus on quality and medication safety tie back.
